2025 Review
As you complete this, don’t overthink it. You can take as much time as you’d like to and come back at any point if you can’t think of an answer immediately.
1) What is the favourite thing that you read in 2025? It could be a novel, a poem, blog post, letter or card, a quote you saw somewhere? And feel free to go into as much detail as you wish – what was the reason it was your favourite?
2) What is the favourite thing that you saw in 2025? It could be a film, tv programme, play, concert, something that happened at a barbeque with your friends! Anything that made you smile.
3) What is the favourite thing that you heard in 2025? It could be a song, a podcast, a joke, something on the radio?
4) What is the favourite thing that you ate in 2025? A meal out, something someone made you, you tried a new recipe…
5) What is something that you’re proud that you did in 2025? Maybe you got promoted, you passed a course, you cooked dinner for 10… Ran a 5k for the first time… Whatever you’ve done, that you’re proud of, write it down.
6) What is something that made you smile in 2025? Could be something that you did, something someone else did. Something you heard. It could have happened this morning or 10 months ago.
7) What is something that you made this year that you’re proud of – it could have been a presentation you gave, a craft project, a new recipe that you tried (and worked!)
8) What’s the favourite thing that you wore this year? It could be a pair of shorts you got into for the first time in years, a sexy dress, your comfiest pjs…
9) What’s something that you tried for the first time in 2025? Again, this could really be anything!
10) What’s your favourite memory from 2025? Your absolute personal highlight from 2025.
And that’s it! This is your review of 2025. This isn’t goal-centred – what you achieved – it’s about how you felt. What you enjoyed this year, so you know what to do more of in 2026. We often talk about life being about the journey, not the destination, and this is a gentle reminder to enjoy the journey and focus on the little every day things that bring us joy. If you struggle to complete this, ask yourself ‘what did I do today / what happened today to make me smile?’ and make a note of that.
